When you suffer medical negligence, the effects can be devastating. So, it can be comforting to have a local legal team on hand to support you with your claim. Our medical negligence specialists understand just how sensitive and complex these types of claims can be, and will guide you through the legal system with care and compassion.

What is medical negligence?

Medical negligence occurs when substandard care has been provided to a patient by a medical professional; resulting in further injury, illness, pain or suffering. This includes pre-existing conditions too, which may have been aggravated as a result of the negligent care. There are a number of instances where medical negligence can occur, including misdiagnosis, incorrect treatment, or surgical errors. If you received negligent treatment through an NHS Trust or a private facility in Manchester and you experienced avoidable pain or suffering, then you could be entitled to make a claim for compensation.

What our customers say

“Patient Claim Line were able to get that validation that I know Nick was desperately seeking. That letter that we got from the NHS saying ‘if we’d done more, your husband would still be alive today’ would have made the absolute world to him. He wanted someone to turn around and say ‘I’m sorry, we were wrong’.”

“I found working with Patient Claim Line really easy and pleasant. Having Patient Claim Line to call and say ‘I don’t really understand, could you explain this to me?’ was just brilliant. It’s been really difficult, but knowing that we’re dealing with people who understand the emotion behind the numbers has been amazing.”

Sarah's Story

"Now we have peace of mind"

My husband, Nick, went back and forth to the doctors for a long time and tried everything the doctor recommended. But his illness got worse, to the point that he was in agony.

In the end we got so desperate that we asked for a referral. The doctor was reluctant, so we had to consult a private hospital. That’s when we found out there was a tumour. It took years from the onset of his illness to finally start cancer treatment.

He used to be a man with a lot to live for, but in the end he was in so much pain that he withdrew from the family. He became angry that nobody had helped him sooner, and the legal team were able to give him the validation that he was desperately seeking. The NHS confirmed if they had done more, Nick would still be alive today.
