I contacted Patients Claim Line after my mum died unexpectedly after a stay in hospital for something non fatal. I was a little apprehensive about calling having never done anything like this before, and also having lost mum so recently I was very emotional. A very nice young lady answered and was very understanding and helpful without being pushy. She explained everything step by step about how the claim would be dealt with. A week later a gentleman visited me with some papers I had to sign and took screenshots of my documents that were needed, ie passport, bank statement etc. He gave me a personalised letter explaining lots of information about the process, including that I would receive a catch up of the claim every four weeks, which they have done so. So far so good.
