Notable Settled cases:

• NG v Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust:  Following the death of a 55-year-old married female, caused by admitted failures by the Defendant Trust to correctly interpret a biopsy in April 2015 as showing atypical glandular epithelium requiring further investigations. Achieved settlement of £465,000. 
• RC v Barking v Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust: Negligent treatment provided by the Claimant’s Consultant Vascular Surgeons. As a consequence of the alleged negligent treatment, the Claimant suffered sacral pressure sores and bilateral above knee amputations. £200,000 compensation secured.  
• Anon v NHS Trust: 62-year-old man (55 at the age of the injury) sustained a spinal cord injury at sensory level C5, and Grade C on the ASIA impairment scale with incomplete tetraplegia, after he fell out of a hospital trolley following a seizure. Client has been left with severe permanent neurological deficits and physical disabilities, requiring 24/7 care and support with transfers and daily activities. A settlement was achieved of £2,250,000.
