Nermeen Salahuddin

Solicitor

Nermeen is a Solicitor in our Clinical Negligence team, where she dedicates herself to advocating for people that have endured negligent treatment from medical professionals and bodies.

Having worked in law since 2016, Nermeen began her career as a paralegal, before successfully qualifying as a solicitor in 2024. Over the years, she has honed her expertise in clinical negligence, with particular specialist interest in cancer and stoma claims. In addition to this, she also boasts experience in road traffic accidents, employers’ liability/public liability and court of protection cases.

Nermeen is immensely proud of her consistent client satisfaction scores, all of which average around 9/10 on cases she has worked on. This is a true reflection of her commitment to always going above and beyond for her clients. She values the strong relationships she builds with her clients, that are built on a foundation of trust and reassurance, during what is often the most difficult time in their lives.

First-hand experience is a justice-seeking driving force for many of our solicitors at Fletchers, and the same is true for Nermeen. Nermeen is particularly interested in supporting clients with stoma-related claims, as she experienced the impact this had on her nephew, who required an immediate stoma at birth. This allows her to deeply relate to her clients’ challenges and understand the emotional and physical impact medical negligence has on their lives.

Nermeen’s passion to advocate for often-marginalised members of society transcends her role as a solicitor; as a Responsible Business Champion at Fletchers she is actively involved, and often leading, certain initiatives within our corporate social responsibility work. Within this, she has worked on initiatives for Ramadan, Pride, Black History Month International Women’s Day and many more. As well as this, Nermeen is also an active board member of the Manchester Muslim Writers group and frequently gives discussions on routes into law at local schools.

Her dedication to representing and advocating for her clients comes as second nature to Nermeen, and her ambitions to further deepen the inclusive and diverse culture at Fletchers is what makes her such a highly valued member of both our team, and the community.
