Kathryn Sharkey

Kathryn is an Associate, Solicitor and Team Leader in our Clinical Negligence team, with over 11 years of experience in the field. She manages a team of junior and senior paralegals, ensuring that cases run smoothly and efficiently.

Kathryn’s career in law began in 2007, when she qualified and initially spent 8 years working for defendant insurer clients, handling cases involving physical and historical sexual abuse, as well as employers’ liability and public liability claims. During this time, she realised her passion for advocating and supporting injured individuals and began working with us in 2014.

Kathryn initially focused on solely litigated cases before transitioning to her current role as a team leader. In addition to her solicitor role, Kathryn is an active member of the Liverpool Law Society, where she holds positions on the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and Civil Litigation committees. She also serves as the Liverpool office Menopause Support Coordinator, demonstrating her commitment to supporting her colleagues in various aspects of their lives.
