Peter Rigby

Peter serves as our Managing Director for Medical Negligence, overseeing one of the UK’s most respected specialist teams. Our department handles more medical negligence claims than any other firm in the country, supported by an exceptional group of talented and dedicated lawyers.

Peter joined us in 2010 within the serious injury department, where he developed extensive expertise in catastrophic brain, spinal cord and severe orthopaedic injury cases. Peter’s extensive knowledge, unwavering commitment to clients, and strong leadership qualities have led to a series of senior promotions, culminating in his appointment to lead the entire Medical Negligence team.

Since taking on this role in 2021, the team has continued to expand and strengthen, reflecting his strategic vision and the trust clients and colleagues place in him. At the heart of Peter’s work is a genuine desire to support those affected by medical negligence, offering guidance not only through the legal process but also through the challenges of recovery.

Peter describes working here as “an absolute joy,” praising the dedication of the team and their determination to secure the best possible outcomes for every client.
